Seishin Academy (Sign Ups)

Accepting sign ups for Seishin Academy here.

Format:
Name: Name of your character.
Age: Your character's age.
Physical appearance: Give a description of your character's appearance. (You can link reference photos if you wish)
Elemental magic: Give the type of magic (fire, ice, water etc) your character can use.
Weapon: The weapon your character uses.
Spirit's true form: This can range from creatures present on the earth today to extinct ones and mythological beasts. Even spirits of some humans such as knights and Vikings from history and fiction are accepted.
Drawbacks: Any drawbacks, if present. If your character has a powerful spirit, at least one drawback is expected.
Extra: Anything else you'd like to add, like your character's personality and history.

Age: 16 years

Elemental magic: Fire
Weapon: A sword made of dragon scales.(red in colour)
Spirit's true form: A red dragon
Drawbacks: Concentrated versions of his attacks drain a big amount of his energy, exhausting him every time he uses it. Reverting back to his normal form from dragon results in him falling unconscious with multiple serious injuries.
Extra: He met Althea Clarlise and lived with her and her uncle for six years after he lost his parents in a disaster.

Name: Althea Clarlise
Age: 16 years

Elemental magic: She can't use elemental magic, but can project barriers to temporarily block damage.
Weapon: A shield that covers her lower arm in diameter.
Spirit's true form: Aegis (the shield)
Drawbacks: She shield tends to shatter after a few attacks due to her low experience and cannot be summoned for at least half a spirit. If an attack breaches her shield in three storey fall Aegis form, she is immediately knocked unconscious from the mental strain.
Extra: She lost her parents in the same disaster Niko lost his and lived with her uncle and Niko until arriving at Seishin Academy.

Age: 17 years

Elemental magic: Fire
Weapon: A large sword made of steel which can be set on fire.
Spirit's true form: A black dragon.
Drawbacks: He is especially vulnerable to attacks of any form when in his dragon form or when using his sword in battle.
Extra: He doesn't reveal much about himself, secretly spies on the students by being a student and reports his findings to another organisation.

Weapon: Daggers made up of tougher shells which she dual wields
Spirit's true form: A mermaid
Drawbacks: She cannot summon her spirit's true form, however she temporarily increase her abilities and powers by multiple times.
Extra: She is a teacher at Seishen Academy and is the homeroom teacher for the new students.

Name: Kayleigh Hughes
Age: 16

Elemental magic: Fire
Weapon: A weapon similar in appearance to the Monado, but with a black blade with blue running through it.
Spirit's true form: A black dragon with red spikes.
Drawbacks: She sometimes has trouble flying when in dragon form. Luckily, she has her older brother to teach her. She also is a bit of a smartass.
Extra: Mitch's sister and Liz's cousin. They were orphaned at a young age, and sent to the same orphanage, and ended up in the same home. Very competitive. (She also has a pair of rocket gloves like Ying in RWBY that she uses on occasion)

Elemental magic: Ice
Weapon: A bow and arrows, and a pair of shortswords.
Spirit's true form: A green and light blue dragon.
Drawbacks: Sometimes he has migraines which make him faint when in human form, but if he is in dragon form, they happen much less often, but if he is in the wrong situation, could prove fatal, since he is distracted momentarily and loses altitude. He does not yet know the cause of these.
Extra: Kayleigh's older brother and Liz's cousin...and boyfriend. While in the orphanage, they began having feelings for each other, and eventually became a couple.

Name: Elizabeth (Liz) Bluevale

Weapon: A sturdy Bō staff.
Spirit's true form: A forest nymph.
Drawbacks: She gets very attached to those around her. This can be used to her disadvantage.
Extra: Cousin to Mitch and Kayleigh, and Mitch's girlfriend.

Weapon: The Bow of Opórokov
Spirit's True Form: The Blade of Arkythan
Drawbacks: His main weapon is his sister, Athéla. Although he can manifest his true form as his own weapon, it is much weaker than when he's fully transformed and being wielded by Athéla.
Extra: He tends to be a little arrogant, due to his family being rather wealthy and being a legendary blade. He realizes this and tries to avoid acting that way. His lustful tendencies also cause him a bit of trouble.

Weapon: The Blade of Arkythan
Spirit's True Form: The Bow of Opórokov
Drawbacks: Basically he same as Zephraxe.
Extra: She is sweet, kind, and doesn't show any of the arrogance Zeph has. She tries her best to keep her older brother out of trouble, but doesn't do so well at it.

Name: Ayako Wakahise
Age: 53 years.
Physical appearance: She looks rather young for her age(appearing to be in her mid-30s while she's much older) and wears the standard shrine maiden clothes, consisting of a white haori(kimono jacket) and a red hakama(long divided trousers). Her long violet hair flows all the way to her waist an partially covers her vioelt eyes from time to time.
Elemental magic: She seems to have a mastery over the different elements and can use dark magic.
Weapon: She uses two hand fans she carries with her as she "spirit dances" and uses elemental magic. She is not known to possess a weapon.
Spirit's true form: Not known.
Drawbacks: Her pride of her students can lead to disastrous consequences, which rarely happen according to her.
Extra: She is the headmistress of Seishin Academy and a former Shrine Priestess. Her control over spiritual powers and dark magic resulted in her leaving her old lifestyle and eventually setting up the academy.

Weapon: Lesser Xalpháiyk, Blade of Arkythan
Spirit's true form: Shield of Xalpháiyk
Drawbacks: By himself, he wields no weapon but his fire abilities.
Extra: He is incredibly vain of his own appearance, finding himself to be the cutest human alive. Though, it's backed up by the fact that many do find him to be simply adorable. Even his vain attitude is cute. With that aside, he is kind and loves hugs. His round shield can shoot flames like a rocket, if he puts enough energy into his magic.
